The Dunne Valley Ranch ranch was owned by the Dunne family from the early 1940s until August 2012, when it was sold to Gardiner Angus Ranch. The property encompasses over 21,000 contiguous acres of pasture and farmland in southwestern Kansas. It is located on a bend of the Cimarron River, about 60 miles south of Dodge City and 10 miles south of Ashland, the Clark County seat. Recognized as prime cattle country since the area was settled in the 1870s, the land where the ranch now sits has been used primarily as a cow-calf operation. At least 800 acres within the ranch proper are suitable for growing winter feed or other crops.
